Waking up Monday morning I figured it would be any ole' morning. Get up, eat breakfast (Honey Nut Cheerios), get ready, and leave for work. Not to much of a surprise I did all of those things just feeling a little queezy this particular morning.
I thought to myself, no biggie, I'm not going to have actual morning sickness. I have been trying to take the optimistic approach! So, I get to work and well my little baby decided it didn't care about my optimism I was going to get sick.
Oh my, those Cheerios tasted so good when I was eating them. Not so much the other way around!
So I called my Wonderful sister, Leslee, last night to get some insight. After all, we are going through this together and this is her second. So in my mind she must know some things that I just have to know. She clarified with me that no matter how Optimistic I am, it won't change the fact that I would have morning sickness. Thanks Les. And she told me to try eating some crackers before i get out of bed in the mornings and maybe that would help, even though it didn't help her with either of her two boys!
So this morning when my wonderful hubbie came to wake me up (so nice to not hear an alarm clock every morning) he brought me some oh so tasty saltines. And let me tell you sisters must be alike because it didn't work for me either.
I was lucky enough to get down some toast, and very lucky to completely get ready for work! However, right before leaving my house, while I was opening the blinds, It hit me like a cast iron skillet on the head!
So my last two mornings have not been great! I did enjoy a great Hardee's Egg and Cheese biscuit after arriving at work. And, I haven't been sick past 10:00am. I'm still trying to be optimistic, I know it will get better and my baby will be SO worth it!

Preparing for Baby!
We found out just a few weeks ago, and it still seems unreal. I know no one else can tell I'm pregnant yet but boy howdy, I CAN!
And so can my jeans!
J and I have always been great planners. So no doubt that we have a plan for this too!
Hopefully, but I doubt it, everthing will go as planned.
Over the next nine months we have lots do get done.
Not only do we have to get the nursery ready, but we also have to convert our bonus (junk) room into our NEW master bedroom and bath!
We are so very excited, even though we have a lot of work ahead of us.
Actually I am so excited to have a new room. I love to pick wall colors and my new fav. is ceiling colors!
The color of our bedroom celing is called Tabu. It's kind of a green color.
Ok I know you are all thinking I'm crazy, but just trust me it will look awesome!
As of right now I am feeling great and excited about all this work!
Hopefully I continue on this feel good path.
