We will miss you Nana

Today is the Last day that Nana will be keeping Liam while I am at work! Sad, I know. He starts daycare on Monday. Nana has been such a huge help after we found out the daycare we wanted Liam to attend didn't have an opening until the middle of May! She just lives right down the street so it's not like we will never see her again, but I know she is sad that she won't be able to see him everyday. Nana you can pick Liam up from Daycare any time you would like!

We will miss you Nana

Mother's Day Weekend

So I know it's kind of late, but I had the best Mother's Day weekend! My sister and my nephews were in town, YAY! I always miss seeing Mason and Miles. Saturday morning Leslee called and wanted to take Liam and Miles on a walk since we are both trying to lose our baby weight. By the way, Leslee you are doing GREAT! You are looking awesome! It was so nice just to spend some sista time with her. Liam, of coarse, fell asleep before we got to the end of Nonnie and Grandpa's driveway, and Miles had a great time just looking around.

I told you that my niece Ella Gracin's 1st birthday was on Saturday. Turns out E.G. doesn't really like her cousins. Ha! Any time she was around Liam or Miles she screamed bloody murder! It was a little the first few times and then I just got a headache. lol. I'm sure she will grow out of it and be bossing them around before too long. For now E.G. we still love you and you are the cutes little girl, just maybe not so loud next time. Ha! Besides that Ella Gracin's Birthday party was a huge success! Everyone had a great time...including Mason who absolutely LOVED the cupcakes! But then again who wouldn't love a big pink cupcake!

And Liam Sleeping

Later that day we went to J's Uncle Michael and Aunt Karen's house for a Mother's Day cookout. We always have such a great time with his family and they always love seeing Liam. Must be nice to always be the center of attention!
Jennafer (J's sister) and I

Sunday, we had to get up extra early for church. Liam was dedicated and we had to be there early for practice! We had two whole rows of seats just for our Fam. lol. It was so nice and moving to look and see our families supporting us as we made a commitment to always raise Liam in church. After church we went to Nonnie and Grandpa's for Bar-B-Q......Yummy! I made strawberry shortcake with home made whipped cream. Which isn't hard but OH GOSH it's soooooo good! J actually gave me my Mother's Day gift last week (he is absolutely TERRIBLE at keeping secrets). I got an awesome key necklace and a new wallet. He did save the card until Sunday though and of course I cried!
All in all it was a wonderful weekend! It was definitely exhausting, but so worth getting to spend time with the FAM. Again, please pray for us as we head to Indiana this weekend to see Scott, Liam's Poppy. I know it will be another great weekend, I'm just a little nervous about the drive!

Our little Family

Just Chillin

Out Like a Light
Liam and Daddy

See I told you he can stand! Ha.

Mommy and Liam

He Rolls!

Liam rolled over for the first time Saturday, May 1st 2010! He has only done it one other time since then and I am the only one that has seen it. J thinks I am just crazy but I promise he really did it! We have desperately been trying to get him to do it again but he just won't do it. I guess he figures it is just his and Mommy's little secret! Ha!
Besides that, we have been super busy lately, and it doesn't look like it will get better any time soon. Last Saturday we went to Tiffany and David Bobo's wedding where I accidentally spilt sweet tea all over Jeremy's boss! I know what can I say, I'm really bad about spilling things. After that we ended up getting detained at J's Aunt Penny's house all day because of the torrential downpour and tornado warnings. We ended up having a really fun day though just hanging out. His sister and her husband, Jennafer and Carlton, were there. We were actually headed to Franklin and thank the Lord, decided to stay in Shelbyville. I think Franklin was one of the worst hit places!
This weekend is my sweet little niece's, Ella Gracin, 1st birthday! My sister and her two boys, Mason and Miles, are coming to town too. I can't wait to get all of the kids together again. Last time Mason decided he wanted to hold Liam, who was only 6 weeks at the time, and rock him. Let me just tell you I wish I had a video camera, HILARIOUS! Sunday is of course Mother's day and I'm really excited because we are dedicating Liam that day at church!
Whew....I am tired all ready just thinking about it. And if that wasn't enough, the next weekend we are making an 8 hour trek to Indiana to see Jeremy's dad. He has never met Liam, his first grandson. He couldn't be here for the birth because he has an artificial heart and is waiting to be placed on the transplant list (please pray for Scott). And while your praying for Scott please pray for our trip. I am so nervous that an 8 hour trip will easily turn into a 10 hour trip (hopefully not)!
Well, so much for now...I will keep you update you next week on our trip :)

Naked Boy!

Jeremy was in the background of this video and had to put his little country hick humor into it. Ha! Oh my crazy husband (listen close at the end).
