Sorry it has been so long since my last post! The Elliott Fam. has been going through so many changes! At the beginning of July I started a new job at Tullahoma Dental Group! I love it....yay we are actually a busy office, which is very tiring but makes my days go by so much faster! Not to mention a huge pay raise....I cannot complain! About a month ago J accepted a job at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic! He loves his new job and it was such an answer to prayers, but the drive kinda stinks!
We have put our house on the market, which is a chore in its self trying to keep it clean all the time with a 6 month old. We are wanting to move to the Bell Buckle/ Wartrace area so J and I can split the drive! However, we have found that it is not easy to find a home there....for some reason people like it there ha ha ha! We are planning to be in this house for quite sometime so we want to be in the best school district which is Cascade. J went to school there and that is really where we would like Liam to go.
In the midst of all this J's dad, Scott, received his heart transplant after a million prayers. we have been to Indiana once to see him since then, but Liam couldn't go back to see him because he had a runny nose and we didn't want to get Scott sick. We did get to meet his Fiance, Greta, she is super nice and they are getting married in December! Even though we were in the hospital most of the time we were in Indiana we had such a good time. Kim, J's aunt, and Jennafer, J's sister, went with us. It was a car full and a hotel full of people but it was so much fun staying up late and catching up!
Now to me sweet little Liam! HE IS SO BIG. At his 6 month check he weighed 18lbs 5oz. and is 27 1/2 inches! He is in the 75th percentile for both weight and height. He has recently started army crawling and sitting up on his own. His first word was MAMA, and man he is chatty! He never stops moving, not even when he is sleeping! He has three teeth now, and each time he has been teething he has gotten an ear infection! I hope he doesn't follow in Jeremy's footsteps, his mom told me that by 11 months he had so many ear infections he had to have tubes in his ears. Liam is eating like a big boy now, rice cereal twice a day and veggies at night with his cereal. He loves to eat so much he gets mad if you don't put it in his mouth fast enough.
Let me tell you, Liam really is the cutest baby I know! He has such a cute little personality. I love it when he looks at me and I can see so much of J in him but yet he has the biggest brown eyes in the world and every time I look in them they scream ME! Sorry I have not pictures today, I am at work so i have to be getting along now.
Hope to post again soon!

Man I Love This Boy
I am pretty much the luckiest Mom in the world. Liam is such a sweet baby and
oh my gosh he is so good. J and I have it made with him.
Just one look at that sweet little face and we just melt.
And of that smile will just melt your heart!
Little Swimmer
J's Aunt Penny and Uncle Jeff invested in an awesome pool this summer. Thank goodness because I was very weary of taking Liam to a public pool (also known as public toilets) this summer. I knew he would love the water and boy was I right. He just splashed and loved his little floaty. He tried to put his face in the water a couple of
times but I didn't let him get too close. ha.
his swim gear Thanks to Gymboree! Such a cute suit. I think that was
Pa Bill & Gran's House
Sorry this is a little late....My Pa Bill had a birthday party a few weekends ago. We had such a great time getting to see all of our family. It's really sad that they only like like 20 minutes away and we rarely see them. Anyways, Liam had such a great time. Here are a few pics.
He was very intrigued by her, I think he liked her sweet curls
(his Great Great Granny)
I love that we were able to get this picture. My Granny Rubye Hanger is My last Great Grandparent alive. She just begged to hold Liam, I have to admit I was a little nervous because she is not so quick and he is very squirmy, but she loved holding him and almost didn't give him back. ha ha
Sweet little Mason....He loves Liam so much. Liam was definitely the center of their attention!
As you can tell there is no way that we won't be able to get a good picture of all of the grandchildren together anytime soon. It's like they hear picture and go crazy. Liam was crying, Mason and Miles were just sitting (no smiles) and E.G. was having nothing to do with any of it. ha. Even though it's not perfect, I love it, who likes perfect pictures anyways.

Sweet Boys!
I have so many sweet babies in my life. Mason, Ella-Gracin, and Miles are my wonderful nephews and niece. Of coarse I love all of them but there is something so special about that first nephew. And lucky for us Liam's cousin Mason got to come and visit last weekend. Man he loves Liam too. He told me probably 50 times "I love him." Mason just in case I don't tell you every time I see you....J and I love you SO much. You are so special to us! You have such a sweet spirit and you are ALL boy for sure, from searching for bugs to playing bum bum tag! lol. You're my favorite first nephew ever!

Update on Poppy Scott
J's dad, Scott, went to the hospital about a week ago for some tests to be placed on the heart transplant list. They tested the right side of his heart and it was working perfectly. Then they tested the left side and it was working perfectly too! The Doctors have turned down his machine, that has been pumping his heart for 6 months now, so that Scott's heart is doing 70% of the work on it's own. We are hoping and praying that his heart will continue the get stronger and eventually there will be no risk and the machine can be removed.
This is such a testament of many prayers, but please continue to pray for Liam's Poppy Scott.

Catch Up!
Whew! We have been super busy lately. When we got back from Indiana J found out a lady he worked with had been fired. Unfortunately that meant we had to change our vacation. We decided to go ahead and go to Florida Memorial day weekend. We had such a great time and got to celebrate our 2 year anniversary at the same time! Liam alternated staying with his J.B., Uncle Carlton and Gran and Aunt PP and Uncle Jeff. They had lots of fun keeping him and spoiling him! It was super hard to leave Liam but It was also great for J and I just to spend some wonderful grown up time!
Liam is 3 1/2 months old now! Can you believe it? He is still only rolling over for he. Ha. I think it kills J that he won't do it in front of him (not even the video camera). I can't tell you how many clips I have of Liam just lying on his belly waiting for him to flip over.
He sits so great in his Bumbo chair, which he couldn't do just last week. And now Everything and i mean EVERYTHING is going in his mouth. If he can get his hands on it he can get his mouth on it too. LOL. I started giving him some rice cereal in his bottle a couple of weeks ago, at a desperate attempt for a whole nights sleep! Even though the pediatrician said not until four months he is doing great with it. I decided a couple of nights ago to try and feed him some with the spoon. He did ok with it. Most of it ended up on his face, belly, bib, and the rolls in his legs. HA. Needless to say he had a bath after that.
Liam started Ms. Kim's daycare about 3 weeks ago and is doing great. He loves her and I know she loves him. It's so sweet every morning when I drop him off there is this little girl, Grace, that runs right up to me and says "oh the baby's here." Super cute, he is already a ladies man!
I actually try to get to work early so I can get off early and pick him up before J gets home just so we can have a little Mommy and Liam time before Daddy sweeps in and I have to cook dinner and work out! Speaking of working out.....so I haven't been doing so hot the past week or so (we have been so busy) but I have lost another 14 lbs. Only about 15 more and I will be exactly where I want to be. I won't tell you what number that is cause then you'll know how MUCH I gained being pregnant, but you could probably figure it was more than I needed to for sure.
I saw a girl last night in Wal-mart that had her baby about a month ago that looked like she had never even been pregnant! I secretly wanted to slap her silly, BUT I HELD BACK! Oh well, Just takes some longer than others, right?!?

Indiana (a little late)
I know it has been a few weeks since we actually took our trip to Indiana but we have been super busy! First off, Liam did great! It took us 10 hours to get there and 12 to get home and the only time he got fussy was for about 10 minutes on the way home. I don't blame him I was fussy too! We had such a great time, it was a short trip (too short), but really fun.
Scott just loved Liam, he is such a proud grandpa. We stayed with David and Samantha (J's uncle and aunt) really they are only a few years older than us so we always have a great time! Thank goodness Jennafer and Carlton went with us. They kept us entertained...lol. The only bad part was J getting a speeding ticket on the way home!!!!!!! I was pretty upset, leave it up to Carlton and J to always make light of a bad situation though. As the cop was telling J how fast he was going, because he had no idea, Carlton blurts out "PRETTY GOOD FOR A HONDA." Yeah, and J laughed! That's my brother-in-law. Gotta love 'em. I'm sure we will have to make another trip sometime....Maybe this winter, Liam would love all the snow they get up there!

We will miss you Nana
Today is the Last day that Nana will be keeping Liam while I am at work! Sad, I know. He starts daycare on Monday. Nana has been such a huge help after we found out the daycare we wanted Liam to attend didn't have an opening until the middle of May! She just lives right down the street so it's not like we will never see her again, but I know she is sad that she won't be able to see him everyday. Nana you can pick Liam up from Daycare any time you would like!
We will miss you Nana
Mother's Day Weekend
So I know it's kind of late, but I had the best Mother's Day weekend! My sister and my nephews were in town, YAY! I always miss seeing Mason and Miles. Saturday morning Leslee called and wanted to take Liam and Miles on a walk since we are both trying to lose our baby weight. By the way, Leslee you are doing GREAT! You are looking awesome! It was so nice just to spend some sista time with her. Liam, of coarse, fell asleep before we got to the end of Nonnie and Grandpa's driveway, and Miles had a great time just looking around.
I told you that my niece Ella Gracin's 1st birthday was on Saturday. Turns out E.G. doesn't really like her cousins. Ha! Any time she was around Liam or Miles she screamed bloody murder! It was a little the first few times and then I just got a headache. lol. I'm sure she will grow out of it and be bossing them around before too long. For now E.G. we still love you and you are the cutes little girl, just maybe not so loud next time. Ha! Besides that Ella Gracin's Birthday party was a huge success! Everyone had a great time...including Mason who absolutely LOVED the cupcakes! But then again who wouldn't love a big pink cupcake!

Later that day we went to J's Uncle Michael and Aunt Karen's house for a Mother's Day cookout. We always have such a great time with his family and they always love seeing Liam. Must be nice to always be the center of attention!
Sunday, we had to get up extra early for church. Liam was dedicated and we had to be there early for practice! We had two whole rows of seats just for our Fam. lol. It was so nice and moving to look and see our families supporting us as we made a commitment to always raise Liam in church. After church we went to Nonnie and Grandpa's for Bar-B-Q......Yummy! I made strawberry shortcake with home made whipped cream. Which isn't hard but OH GOSH it's soooooo good! J actually gave me my Mother's Day gift last week (he is absolutely TERRIBLE at keeping secrets). I got an awesome key necklace and a new wallet. He did save the card until Sunday though and of course I cried!
All in all it was a wonderful weekend! It was definitely exhausting, but so worth getting to spend time with the FAM. Again, please pray for us as we head to Indiana this weekend to see Scott, Liam's Poppy. I know it will be another great weekend, I'm just a little nervous about the drive!

He Rolls!
Liam rolled over for the first time Saturday, May 1st 2010! He has only done it one other time since then and I am the only one that has seen it. J thinks I am just crazy but I promise he really did it! We have desperately been trying to get him to do it again but he just won't do it. I guess he figures it is just his and Mommy's little secret! Ha!
Besides that, we have been super busy lately, and it doesn't look like it will get better any time soon. Last Saturday we went to Tiffany and David Bobo's wedding where I accidentally spilt sweet tea all over Jeremy's boss! I know what can I say, I'm really bad about spilling things. After that we ended up getting detained at J's Aunt Penny's house all day because of the torrential downpour and tornado warnings. We ended up having a really fun day though just hanging out. His sister and her husband, Jennafer and Carlton, were there. We were actually headed to Franklin and thank the Lord, decided to stay in Shelbyville. I think Franklin was one of the worst hit places!
This weekend is my sweet little niece's, Ella Gracin, 1st birthday! My sister and her two boys, Mason and Miles, are coming to town too. I can't wait to get all of the kids together again. Last time Mason decided he wanted to hold Liam, who was only 6 weeks at the time, and rock him. Let me just tell you I wish I had a video camera, HILARIOUS! Sunday is of course Mother's day and I'm really excited because we are dedicating Liam that day at church!
Whew....I am tired all ready just thinking about it. And if that wasn't enough, the next weekend we are making an 8 hour trek to Indiana to see Jeremy's dad. He has never met Liam, his first grandson. He couldn't be here for the birth because he has an artificial heart and is waiting to be placed on the transplant list (please pray for Scott). And while your praying for Scott please pray for our trip. I am so nervous that an 8 hour trip will easily turn into a 10 hour trip (hopefully not)!
Well, so much for now...I will keep you update you next week on our trip :)

Naked Boy!
Jeremy was in the background of this video and had to put his little country hick humor into it. Ha! Oh my crazy husband (listen close at the end).

Big Boy
Liam had his 2 month check up last week. In only 3 short weeks he gained 1lb. 2oz. and grew an inch! Now he weighs a whopping 12lbs. 11oz. and 24in. long. He is in between the 75th and 90th percentile in every category. J and I couldn't believe how big he is. It has been a running joke in our family that we are the two smallest people and we will probably have the biggest kid. I wouldn't doubt it if he is towering over us at 12. ha.
The crazy thing about being a working mom is that I come home every day and I feel like he has grown in 8 hours. He wants to roll over so bad, and really tries until he gets so mad and just starts screaming! He has become a champ at picking his little head up and standing, with help, lol. He loves to talk to anyone who will listen. Last night I got a great video of him and J lying on the floor just talking. I would share but its about 10 minutes long, ha. What can I say I love my boys!
This week we are really working on getting into a good schedule with bedtime and what not...I'll let you know how that works out for us, ha. I've been reading all about trying to get your baby to sleep through the night. We know he can sleep through the night, because he has done it several times. It seems like he always sleeps through the night when it's J's turn to get up with him and gets up twice when it's my night. I just think he knows and really likes to see me, lol. Even so, I would really like to get some sleep!
Since I have been back to work Liam has been staying with Nana. And let me tell you, boy he loves his Nana. I think its a boy thing in our family because my nephew, Mason, is also crazy about her. What can I say though, she is a great Nana. It has been so nice to have a wonderful grandma to be able to watch him and let us ease into this work and baby thing slowly. She has been such a huge help! She only has two full weeks left until he starts day care, and she tells me everyday how much she will miss him. Nana, We will miss you too!

Busy Weekend
Boy did we have a busy weekend! Last weekend Jeremy was in our friends Matt and Amanda's wedding! Friday after a long day at work we had to drive to Hazelgreen, AL for the rehearsal dinner, which is like 1hr and 15min from t-town. Saturday was the wedding so we had to get up super early to get everything ready to take Liam to Nonnie and Grandpa's house for the day and oh my, HIS FIRST NIGHT AWAY FROM MOM AND DAD!
Jeremy and I had such a great time. We certainly missed Liam like crazy, but I think it was good for us to have some fun adult time. We got to see one of my friends, Bridget and her sweet little girl Rylee, at the wedding. Rylee is three and Bridget and I decided that she and Liam should date one day, ha. She can be a cougar, ha. I felt so old when it was only 9:00 and J and I were so tired we started the trek back to t-town! I slept the entire way home and slept ALL NIGHT (no baby).
Speaking of sleeping all night. Liam has had two successful nights of not waking up! YAY. Last Wednesday and Friday night he slept the entire night. I'm pretty sure it was because he spent those days with his Aunt Penny, Uncle Jeff and cousin Jordan and they kept him up all day, because he hasn't done it since then. But thanks ya'll we really needed those few nights of sleep.
Sunday after being gone all day saturday we had to get up early again and go get Liam and Sophie from Nonnie and Grandpa's. Then before we went home, we had to go to Manchester and drop my car off at the Nissan shop to have some crazy sensor changed for like the fifth time. Not really five times but it sure does seem like it, ha. We went to Shelbyville to pick up a patio set that J's grandparents were getting rid of. So now we can actually use our backyard and have a cook out. Ah, summer fun!
After pretty much neglecting our house all weekend we got home and J had to mow the yard and I cleaned the entire house and did 4 loads of laundry all Sunday afternoon. Luckily Liam fell asleep in the car on the way home from Shelbyville so we just left him in his seat (we did take it inside, lol) and I got a ton of stuff done. I felt like super speed woman, ha.
All in all it was a busy but great weekend. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Throneberry. I hope you guys have fun on your honeymoon in the Dominican Republic (those lucky ducks).
Liam goes to the doctor today for his 2 month check up, we will see how much he has grown. I'm going to guess he is at least 13lbs by now. I will update you soon.

Meet Liam
Little Chunky Cheeks(Love this one)
Sleeping so good!
What can I say but CUTE!So I know it's been a long time! Liam is now 2 months old so I figured I would get back on the band wagon and let you all know what has been going on in our lives since he was born!
Liam Grant Elliott was born February 16, 2010. He weighed 7lbs. 6oz. and was 20in. long. Fast forward to his 6 week check up....my little CHUNK of a man weighed 11lbs. 9oz. and was 23in. long. HE REALLY LIKES TO EAT! He can already wear several 3-6month clothes.
Liam is such a strong boy he is already pushing with his little legs and holding his head up like a champ. He loves and I mean Loves his pacifier, hates to be cold and sleeps best when he is so hot he sweats, lol! Liam has had big brown eyes just like his momma since the day he was born, weird I know, but true. He loves bath time and really loves getting his hair washed, I guess he got that from me lol.
If you didn't already figure it out from the picture Liam looks just like his daddy! Oh wait he has my nose! But thats about it. He had quite a bit of dark hair when he was born and it just keeps on growning. He is 8 weeks old now and is the best thing that has ever happened to us. I never thought something so small could change your life so much, and still I can't imagine what we spent all of our time doing before he was here!
I started working again 2 weeks ago, so J and I are pretty much exausted all the time! I just think if we could add another 3 or 4 hours to the day that would be great! I am desperatly trying to lose my baby weight and really having a hard time! It's extremely hard to eat healthy when I didn't for 9 months. We have started P90X and that seems to be helping. Although, it is a huge commitment and sometimes all I want to do when I get home is hold my baby! I'm sure this is nothing that every other mom in the world doesn't have to face but it really stinks!
I will try to keep you all posted on what is going on more often. Can't make and promises, but I will try. Liam goes for his 2 Month Check next week so we will see how much he has grown in the past 2 weeks, ha!
